TAt our foundation, we know that small gestures can make a big difference, especially for children who are spending long hours in a hospital. That's why we put so much care into assembling thoughtful care packages for the young patients at Levine Children’s Hospital. Each package was carefully crafted with a mix of comfort, fun, and practicality to brighten their day and provide a little extra joy during their hospital stay.
Inside every package, we included items that we knew would bring smiles. For a comforting snack, we added packs of Oreos and Chex Mix, offering a familiar taste of home to make the hospital feel a little less intimidating. For the kids who needed a break from their routines, we included fidget toys, perfect for helping to relieve stress and anxiety during downtime. Along with these, we added a crossword puzzle to engage their minds and offer a fun challenge while they rested.
We also knew the importance of comfort, so each care package contained a soft blanket, ideal for snuggling up during quiet moments or when they needed extra warmth. Candy was added as a sweet treat, a little indulgence to make the experience feel more like a celebration. And, because we all know how important hygiene is, we included hand sanitizer to help keep the kids feeling fresh and safe as they enjoyed their new items.
As we packed each item into the boxes, we couldn’t help but imagine the moment the kids would open their packages and discover all the little treasures inside. It wasn’t just about the items themselves, but the thought and care behind each one—a reminder that they were not alone, that people cared, and that, even in the hospital, there were moments of joy and comfort waiting for them.
Creating these care packages was a humbling and fulfilling experience. It was our way of saying, “We see you, we care, and we want to help make your time here a little bit brighter.” And we hope, in some small way, that the kids at Levine Children’s Hospital felt that warmth and support with every item they opened.
Doing amazing job! Please continue to support the less fortunate and continue the empathetic gestures towards those that are in situations that are not totally under their control. Please let Sneh Shah know when you begin to prepare for the next batch of donations, as we all would love to be part of such good cause. Thank You 🙏🏽
